Mom's Veggie Rice

My mom decided to make veggie rice today. It was really good, better than any veggie rice that I have gotten from any Chinese food restaurant that I usually get veggie rice from. Also probably better for you too.
I thought it tasted great! All my mom did was fry some vegetables and eggs. Then she made some steamed white rice and put soy sauce on them for added flavor. Then she mixed the fried vegetables and eggs with the steamed white rice. It is a pretty easy and tasty meal to make.
Sorry, I don't know what the price is, probably around $10, maybe more, depends on what ingredients you get. Also not sure about the calories either, but probably not much being that it is rice and veggies. Overall I think it is a great, tasty, delicious meal. Thanks mom!

Tommy's Mesquite Kitchen Veggie Burger

Price: $4.99
Calories: Unkown
Quality: 5/5
Overall: A really good veggie burger.

This past week, I decided to try a restaurant near my house called Tommy's Mesquite Kitchen. I had saw on their menu that they had veggie burgers, so I wanted to try theirs. I was really happy I did! I think it was one of the best veggie burgers that I've ever had. If you want to call it a veggie burger, it tastes more like a veggie chicken sandwich, they way they made it. I'm not sure if any of you vegans, or fellow vegetarians have eaten a chicken sandwich before, but they were my second choice, sometimes first choice of things to get at any fast food restaurant and I kind of have been missing them.
Yes I am against eating animals, but I really liked those chicken sandwiches! And i'm glad that Tommy's Mesquite Kitchen has decided to make them the way that they did. It tastes just like those chicken sandwiches with the lettuce tomato at the bottom and the mayonnaise at the top. It was a good veggie burger! Thanks Tommy's Mesquite Kitchen!

Becks Prime's Veggie Burger

Price: $8.25
Calories: 314
Quality: 3/5
Overall: A good veggie burger

Well, i'll say that this was one of the best veggie burgers that I've tried. Although it wasn't what I was expecting, since i'm used to Five Guys veggie burgers where they just put veggies. I was so confused by Becks Prime's veggie burger that I even tried to give it back to them because I had thought they had give me the wrong burger. I later found out that it was a veggie burger when I started eating it. I could tell the difference and even if I still began to doubt I felt assured by all of the black beans that I kept on seeing when I was eating it.
It was a good burger. I wasn't really sure what Becks Prime's burgers were going to be like, but seeing the price tag, I was hoping that it would more than just lettuce, tomato's, and pickles. I really liked it. It was filling and tasted as good as any burger that I've had, maybe even better. Great burger!

Randall's Basil Soup Bread Bowl

Price: Below $5
Calories: Maybe around 500, not sure
Quality: 5/5
Overall: A lot of great soup for a cheap price.

If you love bread bowl soups as much as I do and are missing Quizno's bread bowl soups (where I had eaten my first bread bowl soup, or even heard of the idea), then Randall's has just the soup for you. Come on in during lunch, or dinner and grab one of their delicious soups. I chose basil, being one of their only true vegan soups. There is macaroni and clam chowder soup, but the macaroni isn't really considered vegan and also can only usually be bought before 7 pm, during lunch time. The macaroni is not considered vegan because it has cheese which comes from animals. I recently learned this from a vegan meet up that I had went to the other day. Anything that comes from animals, including milk and eggs is not considered vegan. It is vegetarian though.
Anyway, back on topic Randall's bread bowl soups are a good choice for the non-meat eater. It just depends on which soup you get.

Fadi's Falafel

Price: around 5, or 10 dollars
Calories: unknown
Quality: 5/5
Overall: A great veggie choice for when you feel like eating Mediterranean food.

Falafel! It is filling and doesn't have any meat in it. I think it is made entirely out of vegetables, but i'm not sure . It's a great meal! I really liked it!

Whataburger's Chocolate Shake And Fries

Price: I think around $5
Calories: 1910
Quality: 3/5
Overall: Not my favorite shake, but good size of fries.

I had tried this shake because I was tired of getting the Mcdonald's chocolate shake and I heard that Whataburger's chocolate shake was a better one. I'm not saying that it is, or isn't, but my first impression of it was that it was neither better, nor worse. I can't really compare the two shakes because they taste completely different. Although I would probably prefer Mcdonald's chocolate shake over Whataburger's.
I don't know I think Whatburger's chocolate shake, just has too much chocolate, or something that I don't like. I'm sorry to say, but I really didn't enjoy Whataburger's Chocolate shake, but I did enjoy the fries!

Spaghetti Without The Meatballs

Price: around $5
Calories: around 200 (spaghetti and sauce) and 400 with the meatballs (3 meatballs is around 200 calories) So adding meatballs adds about half of the amount of calories in your spaghetti, so your also losing weight as well, by not adding the meatballs.
Quality: 5/5
Overall: Spaghetti and sauce, what's better?

For this meal, my family made meatballs and spaghetti. Luckily for me they made the meat balls and spaghetti separately, so I could get some spaghetti and pour some sauce in from the tray of meat balls which unfortunately, they didn't separate, but that's ok! I managed to get the sauce out without getting any meat in my spaghetti.
One of my first without the meats, a great way to skip it! A great meal, I love spaghetti. It's very cheap and filling. Another cheap and filling meal.

Easy Cheese Bread

Price: around $5 for a love of bread and a bottle of string cheese.
Calories: 150
Quality: 3/5
Overall: It's just a piece of bread and string cheese.

Slice of bread and string cheese! Great breakfast, or snack! It used to be my favorite thing to eat, but now I don't really like it has much.

Jason's Deli: Plain Jane Baked Potato

Price: $7.13 with bacon, so probably less without.
Calories: 2320 with bacon, so probably around 2000 calories without the bacon.
Quality: 5/5
Overall: A big potato that tastes good.

One of my favorite baked potatos. It's very big and filling for a reasonably, pretty cheap price! A great meal for that hungry veggie!

Mc Donald's Fries And Shake!

Price: Under $5
Calories: 1080
Quality: 3/5
Overall: It's ok, but not one my favorites.

This is the first shake that I started to it french fries with. I really liked it at first, but I started to dislike it more  the more I had it. It just has too much of something, but I can't really think of what it is. It's still good, but it's not one of my favorites.

String Cheese Sandwich

Price: around $10
Quality: 5/5
Calories: 365 using the ingredients that I used.
Overall: Great, simple, easy to make sandwich.

Ingredients: String Cheese
pickles
Two Bread slices
Mayonnaise
Mustard

The Ingredients that I prefer:
HEB orange string cheese (any brand, or string cheese will do)
Mt. Olive's pickles (any brand will do)
Sun Beam; white bread (you can use any type of bread, but I think white bread is the best)
Mayonnaise (all mayonnaise tastes pretty much the same)
Dijon Mustard

I found out about this sandwich when I was trying to find something to bring something to eat at the animal shelter that I volunteer at. I was still into eating meat then, but I couldn't find any meat in the fridge, so I got some string cheese, mustard, pickles, and mayonnaise and made a sandwich out of them. Introducing the string cheese sand which, or as I like to call it. It is a very meat less good sandwich.
